Luc Belaire Rare Luxe - Luxuriously refined.
Gold itself can be considered luxurious, but when it’s in the form of a cuvée, one can’t help but be a lot more intrigued.
Welcome to number 2 out of 3 on my reviews on Luc Belaire & I believe this drink is a game changer.
Luc Belaire Rare Luxe is a french blanc de blanc, meaning ‘‘white wine from white grapes’’, and is made entirely from chardonnay selected in Burgundy. This cuvée is blended with an oak aged dosage from Chablis, which has some of France’s most famous vineyards. The bottle itself matches the rest of Luc Belaire’s products with how it stands out from the crowd & I am almost always in favour of that.
This cuvée is rich, yet refreshing and has distinct notes of apricot, honeysuckle & brioche. My bottle was slightly chilled for just over an hour in the fridge on a warm summers day when I sipped my first glass, with copious amounts of effervescence on display, which appears to be a tradition to the Luc Belaire range.
If you’ve tried low or even average priced sparkling white wines in the past, then you will be all too familiar with the sharp, bitter tastes that you were never expecting, nor wanting. In many ways, after drinking such drinks, you’re usually put off from tasting them ever again (until you’re handed one/obliged to receive one at a party or gathering), which usually results in trading it in for something fruitier or much more sweeter, so you can avoid what could only be described as a bad experience and something you’re now simply not fond of.
The time has come to introduce to the world a sparkling white wine that will change, not only peoples opinions, but, also, preconceived conceptions, that Luc Belaire Luxe can offer you what you thought was not possible for it’s price-point, because the truth of the matter is that we don’t regularly and casually spend our money on a single bottle of sparkling white wine for a treat, or a few bottles for a gathering etc. There was always a gap in the market that needed to offer something premium, of high quality & have the capability to satisfy and appease your taste buds without breaking the bank. Luc Belaire are standing proud and firm with their Rosé’s, Cuvée’s and Brut’s & have taken the world by storm.
Great marketing is key to such success and that is something Luc Belaire has done so brilliantly. They clearly pride themselves on producing a product that has been in the family for generations, sourcing their grapes from world renowned vineyards in France & ensuring each bottle tastes exactly the same as the last by their master wine maker. When you have such a great story and process, the only thing left to do is to promote your product for people to see & why not, in this instance, attach it to musicians who love to advertise their luxury lifestyles? It’s a match made in heaven & was the reason I became aware of the brand. Since then, I have acquired numerous bottles, shared them with my loved ones for them to enjoy & am now writing about them. Luc Belaire clearly have a recipe for success & it’s not just what goes into their extravagant bottles.
